Everybody loves a great deal. And in the ukay ukay center of the North, you can get find plenty of that every time you shop. More than half of the time, no one walks out of these places without something. With great deals all around, it’s hard to say no. So, if you’re looking for a place to start, here’s a guide to the best ukay ukay spots in Baguio City from locals who know the city inside and out.
1. Hilltop

Hilltop is where you can get some of the cheapest deals in Baguio. Here, you’ll find tops and pants for as low as 10 pesos and coats and jackets for at least 40 pesos. Just have patience and determination in sifting through all those tightly packed clothes, and you’ll find plenty of hidden gems.
2. Night Market

Baguio’s night market practically has everything from clothes, shoes, bags to kitchenware for amazing deals. Plus, there are food stalls by the side if you get hungry. If you want to avoid the crowds though, try to avoid Fridays and weekends.
3. Abanao Street
Behind Abanao Square, you’ll find quite a selection of goods in overflowing balikbayan boxes. This is also one of the best places to visit if you’re looking for sneakers, boots, or heels for any occasion.
4. Maharlika Livelihood Center
Right down the basement of Maharlika, you’ll find ukay ukay stalls selling trendy clothes for great prices. The best part is, this place isn’t as popular as the other places so there are lesser people to contend with.
5. Malcolm Square
Right beside Malcolm Square, you’ll find thrift shops with whole floors separately dedicated to all kinds of clothes and shoes from all kinds of brands. Prices can go as low as 20 pesos and as high as 600. And looking through the entire place can be enough for a day.
6. Skyworld

Skyworld boasts of three floors of a vast selection of goods and apparel. Given its location and it’s carefully selected selections though, items here are more expensive. Still, this is the place to go if you’re looking for some imported brands such as Nike or Marc Jacobs.
7. Bayanihan Center
From an old hotel, Bayanihan has transformed into an all-around ukay center where you’ll find specialized selections of branded bags, shoes, or clothes. Some of them might get pricey. But, don’t let that discourage you. Comb each shop for those special pieces. Maybe you’ll even find a great Louis Vuitton steal. Always remember that the key to finding those hidden gems is patience.
