As the Summer Capital of the Philippines has started to open its doors to tourist. The real estate market of Baguio has felt the slowdown of sales but people are still buying and investing properties here. Looking at my own experience I can still sell and close properties during this period of pandemic. Also, my colleagues and other agents are still closing for sale properties here in Baguio and nearby areas.
Real Estate Sellers are now coping up on how they do tripping (site ocular inspections) on properties they sell. Some do Virtual Tour via Messenger, WhatsApp and Viber or by having their representatives here in Baguio see the property for them. Agents or Brokers will find ways for every clients’ demand to be fulfilled.
Property value in Baguio has not changed and was not affected by the onslaught of the pandemic and even some property developments like condominium has not change much on their payment options. There are some property developments that offered good payment promo but on a limited time period.
Filipinos and foreign alike still wants to have a piece of property in Baguio as a retirement, vacation house or investment. The demand still did not change even the pandemic slowed down transactions. People are still buying here at Baguio City where it offers still a cool climate, good people and a unique regional culture for everyone to enjoy.
Expect that Baguio’s property for sale would still be on high demand for everyone that would like to buy or invest here. The only part of the industry that was really affected was the rental property here in Baguio because there is no students and tourist to fill transient home and apartments. There is a surplus of rental property.
Conclusion
Property for sale in Baguio City has still demand and even during this pandemic period, people are still willing to buy.
