Located in the province of Benguet, Baguio City is recognized as the “Summer Capital of the Philippines” because of its increasing popularity during the vacation season. Many tourists come over to see the impressive sights like John Hay, Mines View and Burnham Park. When the Americans occupied the city, they turned it into a haven for many of their soldiers. Since then, Baguio City has always been intended to become a vacation spot.

Baguio City’s tourism boomed, even more, when it became the top location for the movie Forevermore and That Thing Called Tadhana. In just last year, over 2 million tourists visited Baguio City to witness the annual celebration of the Panagbenga Festival. With its unstoppable pull to the visitors, real estate developers keep on investing in this amazing city. Being known as the City of Pines, Baguio City never failed to amaze all the locals and foreign tourists over the past years. And that’s why up to now, this summer capital city is still one of the top best local destinations in the Philippines, according to some studies back in 2014 up to present.
With the city’s alluring beauty, the number of tourists who decided to move here is increasing rapidly each year, and in addition, more and more homes, condominiums and commercial properties are being developed continuously. This place offers a peaceful and comfortable living space which one might want to consider adding to his or her bucket list.

The pines trees that seem to be Baguio’s long lived treasures have been providing cleaner air and giving out more oxygen. Since the urbanizing growth of the city, the pine trees play a significant role in contributing to the cool weather in Baguio City.

There are a number of tourist destinations in Baguio City. But one of the highlights in the city is its refreshing mountain sides and the alluring broad horizon views that you will love and enjoy. Living here in Baguio has been an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for me. The locals are quite warm and friendly, and the neighborhood is very peaceful, to say the least. The people here are very welcoming, especially when it comes to visitors in the area. And that is something I would want people to feel and experience when they visit Baguio City.
Organic Veggies
Tourists will love the abundance of fresh organic fruits and veggies in the area. Plus, Baguio has the lowest price for vegetables. Since it is where most of the veggies on the north comes from, Baguio has become a great place to live. Get your stomach ready for a variety of fresh, healthy vegetables in Baguio City.
